OFF-ROAD TUNED ABS
Equipped with electronic sensors that prevent the wheels from locking, the ABS system allows for greater control of the car during emergency braking; calibration off-road by analyzing the speed of a wheel on one axle over the other is able to understand if you are on a dirt ground. In this situation, the ABS intervenes with a slight delay, the temporary locking of the wheels determines a wedge of material in front of the same which improves
the braking phase by reducing the stopping;
Enhanced Accident Response System (EARS)
In an accident, the system facilitates the rescue operation automatically turning on the outside lights and unlock the doors of the car after deployment of airbags. The system also blocks the supply of fuel to the engine;
ESP 3 Mode
Electronic stability control 3 ways: it can be managed by the driver in order to choose the optimal brake force adjustment in order to reduce the phenomena of oversteer and understeer.
The ESP Jeep ® Wrangler includes:
• the system of emergency brake assist BAS (Brake Assist System), which allows you to immediately apply the maximum braking force and reduce the possible braking distances in the event of emergency braking;
• the control system trazioneTCS (Traction Control System), which identifies the slippage of the drive wheels and reduces engine power;
• the system ERM (Electronic Roll Mitigation), which uses the data from the sensors of the ESP to detect the risk of potential rollover of the vehicle and intervenes by measuring the braking force to individual wheels;
• the Brake Lock Differentials (BLD), send the braking force to the wheel in phase slip, in order to provide the necessary torque to the movement.
A separate setting of calibrations BLD is designed for off-road operation and is automatically activated in low range mode (4WD low).
Hill Descent Control (HDC)
Hill Descent Control with grade sensing allows a smooth and controlled hill descent on rough or slippery terrain without the driver needing to touch the brake pedal. This system applies the brakes to each wheel individually when needed to reduce forward motion while negotiating down steep grades..
Hill Start Assist (HSA)
Wrangler’s hill descent control with grade sensing allows a smooth and controlled hill descent on rough or slippery terrain without the driver needing to touch the brake pedal. This system applies the brakes to each wheel individually when needed to reduce forward motion while negotiating down steep grades. Hill start assist helps when starting from a stop on a hill by maintaining the level of brake pressure applied for a short period after the driver’s foot is removed from the brake pedal.
Tyre Pressure Monitoring System
Tyre Pressure Monitoring System indicates a possible reduction in tire pressure, standard on all versions.
